Choose a chest-up portrait with room beside the shoulders. Event teams often need both a small speaker tile and a wider title slide from the same image.
You choose your own source and review the current cost before generation.

Ask the organizer for the final crop before choosing. Keep microphones and stage logos out of a reusable biography image; add event branding in the layout.
Deliver two crops from one master. In the slide, place the face opposite the text; in the program, prioritize readable eyes. Send a preview inside both actual layouts so the organizer need not improvise the crop.

Why consider this directionA restrained suit and three-quarter pose put emphasis on the introduction rather than surrounding objects.
Check before choosingThe softened stone setting is atmosphere, not evidence of an office or a position. Check face and clothing structure separately.

Why consider this directionWarm terracotta and a colorful knit can give a small personal avatar a memorable color relationship.
Check before choosingTest whether the color supports your own channel. The off-center pose also needs a separate circular-crop check.
Get the organizer’s avatar frame and slide template. Keep your name and talk title outside the photo.
Try the speaker scene, approve the face, then place one result in both layouts. Check the smallest face and the widest shoulder crop before making separate delivery copies.
If the face works but the slide lacks space, adjust the layout or expand the background. A new face is unnecessary for a spacing problem.
Make two trial layouts: a small square speaker card and a wide slide with your name. If either cuts into your chin or hair, choose a looser portrait before sending the file to the organizer.
Create a headshot with my photo ↗Keep a chest-up master and deliver two crops. A tight circle needs centered eyes; a title slide needs space toward the text. Ask for the organizer’s layout, then test both before approving the portrait.
Only if the image is specifically documenting that speaking moment. A clean biography master is easier to reuse at another event without suggesting the wrong venue or sponsor.
