How it works

How manual hairstyle try-on works

Manual mode is designed for people who already have a haircut, color, or reference direction in mind. The main choices stay visual so you can decide from real hairstyle examples instead of configuring a long technical form.

01Upload a clear selfie

Use a front-facing photo with one visible face, even lighting, and an unobstructed hairline. A full-body portrait also works when you want the hairstyle to match an outfit or silhouette.

02Choose a hairstyle

Filter the complete women's and men's library by cut, length, curls, braids, or updos, then choose one of 37 hair colors below.

03Generate and compare

Create two to eight images in parallel. Results are saved to your account history, and generation continues in the background while you browse.

Why it helps

More control without a complicated workflow

The default flow asks for only a photo and a hairstyle. Optional settings let you refine the output without making every user complete a long questionnaire.

01Preserve your identity

The uploaded photo is the single identity reference. Prompts instruct the image model to keep facial geometry, skin tone, age cues, expression, pose, and background consistent.

02Fine-tune when needed

Open advanced adjustments to set masculine, feminine, or automatic styling, choose hair color, add a regional style brief, select full-body input, or control the result batch.

03Designed for real decisions

Compare haircuts before a salon appointment, test a new color, plan a professional profile photo, or explore a bolder direction without committing to it.

FAQ

AI hairstyle try-on questions

A good source photo and a clear hairstyle reference create the most useful comparison. These answers explain what to expect before generating.

Will the result keep my face?

Yes. Your photo remains the identity reference, and the generation prompt explicitly limits edits to hairstyle, hair color, and styling. Image models can still make small mistakes, so compare several results before using one as a salon reference.

Can I try hairstyles for women and men?

Yes. The library includes women's salon styles, men's barber cuts, textured hair, braids, curls, short cuts, long layers, and regional trends. You can filter the examples or leave the direction on automatic.

Can I generate several photos at once?

Yes. Choose two, four, six, or eight results. You can request variations of one hairstyle, several different hairstyles, or a balanced best set, and supported models submit them concurrently.

Where are my results saved?

Signed-in users can open Hairstyle History from the header or generator. Pending, completed, and failed tasks remain available there, and a floating progress panel reports background generation on the web.
